Evangelical Emanuel Cemetery

Hales Corners
Milwaukee County Wisconsin Genealogy

Location

A small cemetery hidden by large trees, completely invisible to passing motorists. It is still used. According to Bob Roesler current president (2011) of Greenfield Historical Society:
"It is presently UCC (United Church of Christ), and prior to that was an Evangelical Congregation. Some of its founders (1888) had been Lutheran, but broke away from St. John's of Root Creek (WELS)."

The names of many early German families may be read on the tombstones.

Transcriptions for this cemetery have not yet been completed.
