I don't know whether Samuel made the trip or died beforehand. The Asche family ended up in Milwaukee, WI where Annie ran a boarding house near a brewery. Gertrude met a man from SC there, married him and moved South.

Bard Evelyn JOHN BARD, born April 9, 1877 in Sweden. He homesteaded in the Carson, ND area sometime in the early 1900's, but became a resident of South Milwaukee sometime between 1916 and 1926. I understand he was married, but I have no knowledge of his wife's name, nor if he had any children. I don't know if South Milwaukee means the southern portion of Milwaukee proper, or the suburb of South Milwaukee.

Bergmann Dolores Taylor I am looking for siblings of Charles Bergmann & Ulricke Spohrs Bergmann,.married in Milwaukee, WI Oct 19, 1882. Witnesses at the wedding were Julius Bergmann (possibly a brother?) & August Klug. I was told my grandmother Ulricke, had two sisters in the Milwaukee area, but I do not know their names. Ulricke's father's name was Ferdinand Spohrs. The 1900 census lists a Ferdinand Spors as living with a daughter Wilhelmine Roeglin at 647 Pearl, Milwaukee, WI. I do not know if this is a sister and father of my grandmother. Wilhelmine Roeglin is listed as having four sons, Herman Wilhelm, Henry and Alfred. Ferdinand Spohrs's wife was Caroline Borchardt.

Catlin tanzi My GGGrandfather, Joseph M. Catlin lived in Franklin, Milwaukee Co., WI. He entered the service on 24 FEB 1864 while residing there. A private in Co. "A" 36th WI Infantry, he was captured at Reams Station and died on 3 Jan 1864 while a prisoner at the infamous Salisbury Rebel Prison. I know a lot about the family from him forward that I will share. Any information concerning his earlier life would be greatly appreciated. He was born in 1830 in Tioga, NY and was married to Sarah J. Harvey.

Dickerson Brenda E. Hopkins I am at my wits end trying to locate a C.W. Dickerson who lived in Milwaukee, WI. All I have is a sword that was presented to him with his name and city on it. It looks to be a ceremonial sword made by a company in Kalmazoo, Michigan. He would have had a son Harold S. Dickerson. The sword may be from some club such as the mason's.

Ingeborg had four brothers and three sisters - I don't know the names of any of them. Sometime, probably during or shortly after the civil war, the family moved to Northfield, MN. I have a "corrected in 1950" birth certificate, which crosses out an earlier-original? last name and puts in "Kloehn". This was also done for his father. Krumik/Kromach R.N. Leo KRUMIK and Mary TEDYCK were parents of daughter Mary KRUMIK MALICK, born in Prussia (Poland) in 1880. Young Mary was in Milwaukee and orphaned by age 4 years. Also said to have a brother 6 years older in Milwaukee at times of parents death. Seeking any information on all possible family members and identity of people who raised Mary or her brother.
Kubasiak/Kubbasiak Student Researching Stanley and Mary Kubasiak, parents of Lizzie/Leokadija (b. NY), Tony/Antoni (b. WI), and Constantine (b. MI). Also possibly Constancia and Johann, if last name could have previously been Kubacki. Believe they were Polish, from Warsaw? or 12 miles NE of Warsaw. Claimed to be Polish nobility. Questionable. Believe they may have lived in the South Milwaukee area. Granddaughter Martha m. Frank Gruszcynski of Bay City, MI ~1918. He was involved in local Milwaukee politics until sudden death in 1940's. Son died a year later in drowning accident.

Kujawa Laura Researching the family of Michael and Agnes KUJAWA. Immigrated to Milwaukee May 1874 or 1875. Had several children Stanislaus (married Rosalia FLIS), Joseph (married Josephine BZDAWKA), Adam (married Julia SZYSZKA), Theresa (married Stanislaus Bajer/Bayer), Franziska, Marianna, Wincent and Ignacey.
Kuklinski Mark Schears descendants of Paul Kuklinski, married to a Rose. He arrived in Milwaukee circa 1885, his wife arriving from Poland with their children circa 1888. They had the following children: Rose (wife of Lawrence Cobus), Stanislaus, Vincent, Johanna.
Kuppert Searching Ihling, Baewer, Kuppert, Nell in South Milwaukee and Milwaukee South side. All were German Lutherans, churches: St Lucas and Zion Evangelical.

Langrich Cindy Shawley Spore Am researching : Christian LANGRICH / LAENGRICH, his wife Christiane (THIELE) LANGRICH / LAENGRICH and son Karl / Carl / Charles LANGRICH / LAENGRICH. THe name has also been spelled LENGERICH They came from Germany in 1867 and settled in Milwaukee. Carl married Henriette RIESE in 1871. They lived in Town Lake, Milwaukee County. Christian LANGRICH / LAENGRICH / LENGERICH died in 1875 and I am assuming in the Milwaukee City / County area. I can find no record of his death.
Lansing Karen Lansing John Garrett Lansing died in Milwaukee Co. 5 June 1848, would like to find confirmation of this. He died within 6mo - 1 year of immigration from Holland. Wife's name is Binica Lammers or Adelia Loomis or a combination. I don't know if they were just passing through when her husband died. Their last child was born in New York soon after arriving and then they are in Rock Elm, Pierce Co. WI.
Lardie Sue Soper Looking for any/all info on Albert H. Lardie (my grandfather's brother). He died on August 7, 1944 in a work related accident at Solar Corporation in Milwaukee. At the time of his death in 1944 he was 59 years old and live at 747-A W. Bruce St.
Lauscher Janet Mihelich Looking for any/all information there may be in Milwaukee Co. about the LAUSCHER family. My great-great grandfather, Peter Lauscher and his wife Maria Agnes were believed to have been in the Milwaukee area beginning about 1846-49 and stayed there until 1857-8 when they moved on to Kewaunee County. Several of their children including my great-grandfather Alois were born in the Milwaukee area.
Lemanczyk Mark Schears Searching for descendants of Michal LEMANCZYK and Johanna(Anna) KUKLINSKI(born January 1889). Son Izydor Wojciech was born April 17, 1906; christened April 19, 1906 in St. Hedwig's church in Milwaukee. No info available on siblings. I have heard of a Marcie Ihmwalter (sp?) being the daughter of a LEMANCZYK; Marcie married a KUKIK.
Lemberger Aaron B. The Lemberger family from Lam, Bayer, Wald, Germany emigrated to Milwaukee in 1885. There were many siblings including Catharina, Joseph, Maria, Josephine, Martha, Caroline, & Ferdinand. Catharina married Engelbert STOIBER, while the other three sisters married GEIGER, WALTMAN, and SEIDEL. The parents of all of those siblings were Joseph Lemberger, and Thekla Vogel.
Leszczynski Tom Researching Ignatz LESZCZYNSKI (b. abt. 1868, d. abt. 1916) and wife Veronica GRZYNSKA (b. abt. 1872), both DEU>Milwaukee, WI. Had at least 10 children incl. Alois and Jack.

Lihrman Carl-Ecol I'm trying to find some information on my granparents (and those before them). Grandmother Lydia Lihrman (died 1980) and her husband. My granfather died first but Grandma lived in Milwukee until the time of her death. My immediate family (Carl:myself, my father Charles and Mother June (nee Johannes) and my sisters were all born there.

Linstead/Lintstedt Peggy (Linstead) Zant Searching for Herman Linstead (last name was changed to this spelling by Herman). Came to USA when 4-6 yrs. old. worked at Flishman's Yeast until retirement. Herman was married to Molly Boelke and had two sons: Gilbert and Elmer. Herman also remarried to Rose.
Literski/Litterski/Leterski/Letarski Nick Literski Researching LITERSKI along with its variant spellings. Particularly interested in the LITERSKIs who lived in St. Hedwig's Parish 1870 and later. These include the families of August Literski, Adalbert Literski, John Literski, and Andrew Dzieminski (who married Franciska Literski).
Loebel Researching John Loebel & wife Bertha Theresa (Kantz) Kautz who lived in Milwaukee 1874-1878. John's mother Katherina Loebel lived in Milwaukee 1874-1884. Obit for Katherina (died 2 Jan 1895 Iowa) lists two brothers of John: August living in Milwaukee & Edward in Markesan. John supposedly had daughter who married Mr. Fee & lived in Milwaukee at some time.

Married Sarah MCKOWN, Oct. 6, 1841 at Muskego. From WI Terr. Census in 1842 & 1846 have Jeremiah LOTT, Thomas MCKOWN, John MCKOWN. Also have Edward P.MCKOWN married Jane C. Smith Oct. 1846 in Muskego. Looking to trace families of Jeremiah LOTT & Sarah MCKOWN (b. 1819 in NB, Canada.)
Loveall Email I have about 700 names in my Family Tree program database. About 400 of them can be traced to the Magestro or Magistro family line dating back as far as 1852 in Sicily. The other 300 are from my Loveall side of the family dating back to the 1690's in England.
Luick R. Hirschboeck Seeking info on my ggf John Luick, born about 1843 in Milwaukee & died at 98 years old in 1938. He or his son Will Luick founded Luick Dairy, which later became Sealtest. John learned to make Ice-cream during the Civil War, reputedly as a POW. His children by two marriages include: Will, Ida, Mary (Luick)Hirschboeck - my grandmother - , Frank, Ottey. Interested particularly in his birth record to discover who his parents were.
Luneburg Peggy Kolm Researching my gr-gr grandmother Maria Dorothea Caroline (Doris) LUNEBURG. She emigrated from Mecklenburg-Schwerin to Milwaukee,WI (probably) in the late 1850s, following her sister Marie LUNEBURG (married Gerhart NORTMANN) and possibly accopanied by her brothers Fritz and Henry. By late 1861 she had moved to Madison in Dane County, WI.

The son (name unknown) died about 1847 at 12 yrs old; Herman died 1848 leaving 3 daughters: Mina b 1832 m William Boynum, no children; Diana b 1833 m Mr. Strunk, both died bef 1880, 4 kids; Jane b 6 Feb 1836 m Philo Porter, 3 kids. Strunk kids changed name to Strong, were raised by Mina & Jane. All died in Wisconsin, Jane died Rock County 1897. Would like to find where Herman & son are buried & anyone descended from the Strunk/Strong kids.
