Witnesses at the wedding were Julius Bergmann (possibly a brother?) & August Klug. I was told my grandmother Ulricke, had two sisters in the Milwaukee area, but I do not know their names. Ulricke's father's name was Ferdinand Spohrs. The 1900 census lists a Ferdinand Spors as living with a daughter Wilhelmine Roeglin at 647 Pearl, Milwaukee, WI. I do not know if this is a sister and father of my grandmother. Wilhelmine Roeglin is listed as having four sons, Herman Wilhelm, Henry and Alfred. Ferdinand Spohrs's wife was Caroline Borchardt. |
