First Land Grants of Pine Lake
| Certain lands were deeded temporarily by the government to the Rock River Canal Company. Some of the earliest settlers, such as Gustof Unonius, claimed land but moved away from the area before it was necessary to purchase their claim. Therefore there is no record of their land ownership. | |||||
