Foreclosure Sale
State of Wisconsin--Circuit Court for Adams County Elbert L. Burnham and Beckman T. Burnham, plaintiffs, vs. Phebe J. Roach, 
defendant

In pursuance and by virtue of a judgement and decree of foreclosure and sale in the above entitled cause rendered on the 24th 
day of September, 1877, at a special term of the Circuit Court for the 9th judicial circuit for the State of Wisconsin, held 
at the Court House in the Village of Baraboo, in the County of Sauk, Wisconsin, I will sell at public auction to the highest 
bidder for cash, at the front door of the Court House in the village of Friendship, in the county of Adams aforesaid, on the 
eleventh day of November, A.D. 1878, at two o'clock in the afternoon of that day, the following described real estate, lying 
and being in the town of Dell Prairie, county of Adams and State of Wisconsin, to wit: the north half of the northeast quarter, 
and the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter, and all that part of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter, lying 
east of the highway running north and south across said northwest quarter of the northwest quarter; all in section thirty-one 
(31), township fourteen (14), north of range seven (7) east, or so much thereof as shall be necessary to satisfy said judgment, 
with interest, costs and expenses of sale.

Sheriff's Sale
Sheriff's Office, Adams County, Sept. 12, 1878 J. M. Harrison, Plaintiff, against Thomas Thompson, Defendant

By virtue of an execution issued out of the Circuit Court for the County of Adams and State of Wisconsin, and to me directed, 
in favor of the above named plaintiff, and against the above named defendant, Thomas Thompson, I have levied upon the following 
described real estate, the property of said defendant, to wit: the south-east quarter of the southwest quarter of section thirty-
four (34), in township sixteen (16), north of range five (5) east, in the said county of Adams and State of Wisconsin, which I 
shall offer for sale, and sell at public venue to the highest bidder, at the front door of the Court House in the village of 
Friendship in said county, on the twenty-eighth day of October, A.D. 1878, at one o'clock in the afternoon of that day.
