Contributed by our Regular Correspondents Local Brevities Eighty-one to eighteen votes is the style Waterman "got up and went" for chairman of Supervisors. As far as heard from, the next county Board of Supervisors promises to be an excellent one. The people of Richfield have reelected Mr. H. BOARDMAN, their excellent chairman of last year. They have done well. The people of Easton have done themselves and the county a good service in re-electing Mr. B. H. POWERS chairman of Supervisors. Mr. POWERS doesn't make any noise as a member of the County Board; but he gets down to honest, careful work, and does it. That's the kind of a man for the people to tie to. A. F. HILL returned from the East on Saturday last, whither he had been to purchase a stock of goods for the spring trade. His goods began to arrive on Tuesday and we feel safe in saying that he is prepared to sell an excellent quality of goods at surprisingly low figures. Next Week.-Next week the county treasurer's list of "The young men who don't pay their taxes" will appear in the Press. It's interesting reading-to us. Send in the Names.-We wish the Town Clerk in each town would send us the names of the newly elected officers in his town. The list may prove of considerable interest to many. No License.-The real fight at the town meeting last Tuesday in this town, turned upon the license question, and the "No License" ticket was elected by majorities ranging from nine to sixty-three. Village School.-The summer term of our village school will commence on the 22d of April, under the charge of Mrs. F. W. PHILLIPS, as principal. This will make the fourth term that Mr. PHILLIPS will have served in this capacity. The Vote for Judges The following is the vote in the several towns of this county, for TAYLOR and ORTON as Judges of the Supreme Court, and for STEWART for Circuit Judge, as far as reported.
