Local Brevities
The Ladies' Aid Society will meet at the house of Miss Sarah WATERMAN, on Thursday evening, 
the 21st of the present month.  We have been asked to urge all the friends to be present; and 
we hereby "urge."

A donation party was held in New Chester for Elder STAPES, on Wednesday the 6th.  We are told 
his friends there had a very pleasant gathering and contributed $40 towards paying him for his 
labors in their church and society.
     
School Report
The following is the Report of the White Creek village school for the term of three and one-half 
months, ending March 2d, 1878:
Total enrollment, 49.
Per cent, of attendance, 85.
Number of visitors, 50.
The following named pupils were neither absent nor tardy:  Anna WALKER, Orpha HENRY, and May BACON.
Pupils not absent:  Orpha HENRY, May BACON, Anna WALKER, Eddie AUSTIN, and Jonnie FISHER.
