ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FIVE RURAL SCHOOL GRADUATES

The Central Commencement Exercises were held in the Court House Saturday afternoon, and diplomas were granted to one hundred and thirty-five graduates and to thirteen eighth grade graduates from Friendship. This is the largest class that ever graduated from the rural schools and Supt. Mary Breary is to be congratulated on the excellent results of her first year of work as Superintendent. The program was an excellent one and each did justice to his particular selection. Prof. Neale gave an address to the class on the Value of an Education, and pointed out the advantage of getting ahead. The Court Room and hall were packed and many could not get standing room.
