Mr. CLEGHORN's address, last Sunday evening, was the best presentation of the temperance question that we ever listened to. His arguments in favor of prohibition were emphasized by forcible illustrations and touching songs, and all in simple language, free from cant and coarseness. That his lecture had a good effect upon the audience is shown in the fact that about forty people remained and reorganized the Good Templar's Lodge, with the following officers: Officer,Position BAIRD Mrs.,W. T. BISSELL Mrs. C. H.,W. I. G. BOEHMER Mrs. A.,W. A. M. BROWN Rev. D.,W. Chap. DODGE Wm. B.,W. C. EASTMAN S.,W. O. G. PEASE S. A.,Lodge Deputy REID Jas.,W. M. ROSKIE C. F.,W. F. S. WISWALL E. J.,W. S. WISWALL Mrs. E. J.,W. V. **If anyone knows the meaning of the lodge officer abbreviations, please contact Joan so they can be added to this page.
