Packwaukee Lottery Winners, 1890

From the Montello Express, June 18, 1890, Page 3

A few weeks ago a club numbering forty people was formed in Packwaukee, who
were to try their luck in the Louisiana Lottery. The drawing came off, and
on Tuesday (so it is reported to us by one of the ticket holders) they
received a telegarm from the managers of the lottery stating that they had
drawn $20,000. The Express congratulates its Packwaukee friends on their
