Source: The Central Union March 31, 1922, printed at Westfield Wisconsin Last Sunday was a memorable day in the First Presbyterian Church, according to old members and residents of Westfield. The Church was crowded full at the morning Communion Service, when the new members were welcomed by the entire congregation in to the fellowship of the Church. The number received into membership was said to be larger than at any time for many years, and some rather unusual features are indicated by the facts that of the thirty-five persons received, eighteen are men, all but one married, but five persons unmarried, and all but the two received by letters from out of town churches were received upon confession of faith in Jesus Christ. The new members are Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dewar, Mrs. Mary and Miss Leta Leonard, Mrs. Sarah Smyth, Miss Vera Alexander, Mrs. Mary Buttles, Mr. and Mrs. Earl D. Crawford, John S. Cant, Cela H. Caves, Riley T. Collins, Mrs. H. J. Eubank, Mr. and Mrs. W. Fry, James A. Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. M. Hamilton, Frank Haney, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Johnson, Miss Alta E. Kemnetz, Mrs. Jennie Martin, Clinton Porter, Miss Ethel E. Smith, James H. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Albert A. Vaughn, Charles S. McLean, Merrill C. Vrooman and Mr. and Mrs. William Weiss.
