The 1855 Census Column Headings Asked the Following Questions
1. Name of Head of Household
2. Number of People who were white males, white females, colored males and colored females.
3. Number of those within the household who were: Deaf Blind Insane Foreign Born
However, Adams County's 1855 State census pages list only names of the head of households,
with no other information given.
