Adams County Board in 1874
Adams County Press, April 18, 1874

Contributed by Joan Benner

The following named gentlemen are reported as constituting the next County Board. Of the number named below, nine were members of the last Board; and all but three, Messrs. Peck, Powers and Freeman, have had experience upon former Boards of Supervisors. We predict that this Board, like its immediate predecessor, will most closely and conscientiously look after the interests of the people of the county.
